The honey blonde has been a fixture of British television for nearly two decades, and has been part of popular culture since the 1950s.
Now she is returning to the big screen, thanks to the upcoming movie Honey and the Honeybees.
The original film starred Kate Winslet and was released in 1977.
It is about a family of honey bees who become infected with a deadly strain of the coronavirus and start to die.
The honey-haired blonde has appeared in a number of different movies since then, including a 2014 sequel, Honey and Her Baby, and the 2016 remake Honey and The Honeybees, both of which were directed by Jennifer Aniston.
Honey and the Bee, the upcoming sequel to the film, is a new take on the character, starring Kate Winslets as the wife of the famous honey blonde.
The actress, who has a history of portraying people with complex emotional and physical lives, plays Honey’s mother, Rosalind.
Her character’s illness is a big part of the story and the character herself has had a difficult time adjusting to the new role.
Winslets plays Rosalinda as she struggles to adjust to a new reality and has trouble coping with her daughter’s death.
“She is trying to get to grips with the fact that she is going to die,” Aniston told Variety.
“She is in her own world, she is not really there.”
Aniston’s character, who is played by Winstead, also shares a strong bond with her mother, who was born with a genetic mutation that makes her immune to the coronovirus.
In the film the two women, who are not related, come to terms with their mother’s illness and begin to heal.
“Rosalind is very, very close to her mother and Rosalinna is very close too, so it’s kind of like they are a perfect couple,” Winstead said.
“They really love each other, they really have a strong connection and they are very happy together.
It’s a great love story.”
The plot of Honey and THE HONEY BEES revolves around Rosalynna’s son, Owen, who dies of the virus, and her relationship with his mother, Rose.
The characters’ bond has grown as Rosalina, who becomes obsessed with Owen, begins to suspect that Rose is responsible for his death.
Rosalynina begins to develop doubts about Rose, who believes that Owen died from the virus because he wasn’t wearing protective clothing.
In an attempt to find out why Owen died, Rosals mother and sister, Mary and Rosaline, go undercover to investigate.
When they learn of Rosaliddes suspicions, they discover that Rosalins family has become infected and they must leave town.
“It’s about family,” Winsted said.
She added that the film is not meant to be a political commentary about the virus.
“We are a family, we’re trying to figure out how we are going to stay safe.
We are not going to go on like we were last time, and I think that’s what people really want from this,” she said.
The film also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Emily Blunt, James McAvoy, Daniel Radcliffe and Rooney Mara.
It opens in theaters on March 26.
