Honey is one of the oldest and most widely consumed foods in Ireland.
With honey and honey products being sold in grocery stores, cafés and supermarkets across the country, it is difficult to find a home for this staple in Ireland, but that is beginning to change.
In a recent BBC interview with Honey Bee Food, a leading honey producer in Ireland called The Irish Bee, founder and chief executive of The Honey Bee Farm, Dr Michael Kelly, said there is a huge demand for honey in Ireland and it is only going to grow.
“We’ve been trying to get in there and the market is expanding so we’re very happy that we’ve found a lot of people that want it and that it’s going to be very easy to make it here,” he said.
The Irish Bee’s Honey Bee Garden is one such honey farm.
Its honey is produced from a combination of honey and the honey bee colony.
The hive that produces the honey is located at The Honeybee Farm, near Clonmel in County Donegal, which was established by the Honey Bee for over 40 years.
The honey is harvested every year and is transported across the border to the island of Cork.
Honey is produced in three different stages: the first is ground and processed in the local beekeeping industry, then refined to be a product suitable for sale in the US and Europe.
It is then exported to the US, where it is sold to American consumers.

Hewonn is a honey product that is produced with bees that are kept in small hive, the honey producing hive, with each hive having a honey bee queen.
The hive also contains a queen that provides the queen with food and a nest.
The main honey produced in Ireland is from the Irish Honey Bee’s honey, which is then transported to US and European markets where it can be sold.

The Honey Bee farm also supplies other honey products, including the Honeybee Lifestyle, a lifestyle brand aimed at promoting sustainable lifestyles.
The company has more than 25,000 employees and is the largest honey producer on the island.
“We’re really proud of our business and the way we do business and I think that’s where people come in and say, ‘Where’s the honey?'” said Dr Kelly.
